
Covering a total of 8.5 hectares, a brownfield site owned by Leeds City Council, approximately 1 mile to the east of Leeds city centre.
The front part of the site is proposed for the new ”Energy Recovery Plant” facility, leaving approximately 5.42 hectares of land for disposal to the rear and accessed from Newmarket Lane.
The site is included as an employment allocation in the Leeds Unitary Development Plan Review (2006) .
